Vaccines – The situation today

• It is absolutely essential to control the "cold chain", the long and complicated process for the storage and transport of vaccines. Because vaccines are made of biological products, they are naturally more inclined to be unstable. In order to retain their full efficacy, all vaccines must always be stored under the proper conditions and at the appropriate temperature.
