Supporting patients and their entourage – The situation today

Beyond our core activity of researching, developing and making appropriate treatments available for patients worldwide, sanofi-aventis is committed to taking into account and responding to the broader needs of patients and their entourage throughout the patient journey. One principle way in which we do this is by fostering partnerships with patient/professional associations related to our therapeutic areas, who in turn provide support directly to the patient and broader community. This support covers different stages of disease states starting with awareness, prevention and screening.

In parallel, sanofi-aventis provides selected healthcare information tailored to healthcare professionals or tailored to patients/public via dedicated websites in certain countries. Attached is a list of examples.
